During his 40-year career Paul Carosi has designed and successfully deployed marketing programs and technology solutions for his employers and consulting clients. As the marketing director of an international network connectivity hardware vendor he implemented advertising, publicity, direct mail and sales event campaigns, along with conducting customer surveys and market research. As a certified consultant in data architecture, marketing and banking with IBM, TCS, and Fiserv. Carosi conducted assessment studies and implemented campaign management, data mining, customer profitability, financial and management accounting, CRM, data warehouse, data catalog and data governance technologies.
His banking clients and employers included the top firms in the United States and the U.K. including JP Morgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, Barclays, Citibank, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Wachovia, PNC, Mellon Bank, Citizens, Regions Bank, First Tennessee, Federated Investors, Abbey National, and the Portman Building Society. He has also consulted in the insurance, manufacturing and retail industry with projects at Aetna, Aflac, Alcoa, USX, Westinghouse, Wheelabrator Frye, Kubota Tractor and Pep Boys.
In addition to his fulltime work, Carosi pursued his interest in music as the music director of the internationally syndicated radio show and podcast the Artist Launch Hour, publicist for the recording artists the Granati Brothers, the Jaggerz and other acts, and as co-chair of the annual Pittsburgh Rock and Roll Legend awards nominating committee. He is creator and author of the Pittsburgh Music History website that chronicles the careers of the jazz, rock, classical and popular music artists from Western Pennsylvania. At home, Carosi entertains family and friends with meals that he cooks from the harvest of his garden.
